Smith Mills Preschool & Kindergarten

Brightwheel is a website and app we use for student enrollment, tuition billing, student check-in/out, and parent communication. We started using Brightwheel during the COVID-19 pandemic to help with contactless drop-off and pick-up procedures. We are still getting used to it but our hope is it will save time, paperwork and hopefully engage families with photos of their child and direct communication. Once enrolled, families will receive an invite from Smith Mills to sign-up for the free app and start receiving information.

Using Brightwheel:

• Check-in/Check out - Use your personal passcode for school drop-off and pick-up, also you can invite other approved adults to pick up your child with their own passcode
• Paperless Billing - Each month you will receive your tuition invoice via the app. You have the option to pay tuition directly on the app with a credit/debit card or with your bank information. We are happy to accept checks if you prefer that option.
• Photos - You may receive updates and photos of your child throughout the year
• Messages - Send direct messages to the Director
